Expancel® microspheres

Expancel® microspheres – a small thermoplastic sphere encapsulating a gas. Add heat and they expand up to 60 times their original volume. In technical foam, they can be used to create an exceptionally lightweight product with a uniform and entirely closed cell structure, without the addition of binders or other additives, while significantly reducing VOC.

Drum & IBC Decanting System

A single platform solution for decantation from drums and IBCs. Flush system for Lance prevents cross contamination of additives. Similar system is available for flushing drums and IBCs with base oil through the Lance. Tilting system inclines the drum or IBC to decant maximum possible additive leaves minimal dead stock. Servo-controlled Lance moves deeper inside drum/IBC in stages when decanting large quantities for better accuracy of up to 0.5% (weight). Agitator and recirculation uniformise temperature of oil in Flush Tank.

Various applications and customers require reliable information on sustainable foam products, which are also certified by an independent third party. The polymer foam processing plants in Roermond (NL) and Bad Sobernheim (DE) implemented the strict principles of International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) and offer certified sustainable products to their customers. ISCC PLUS certified foam products ensure transparency and traceability along the entire supply chain and confirm that the certificate holder meets the prescribed environmental and social standards. This helps customers to make credible and verifiable decisions on sustainable products that contribute to saving fossil resources along the supply chain.

In conjunction with its business activities, the company seeks a significant reduction of carbon emissions, compliance with EU sustainability criteria such as the Green Deal, and improving the environmental balance by reducing the use of fossil raw materials in production. On our way to sustainable management, we perform a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and determine the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) for the majority of foams. This allows us to meet the requirements of our customers and market demand.

A Hauschild SpeedMixerr® is a bladeless mixer that allows users, such as R&D scientists, to mix materials inside of a closed container.  The various models of SpeedMixer devices can accommodate sample sizes ranging from less than 1 gram up to 10kg. Hauschild SpeedMixer® utilises a dual asymmetric centrifugal mechanism. The SpeedMixer spins materials in two different directions simultaneously. These opposing forces homogenize materials faster and more effectively than traditional mixers and do so entirely without blades which eliminates the necessity of cleaning.

High-viscosity material homogenously mixed in less than 60 seconds

Mixing of play dough usually shows the capacity of the Hauschild SpeedMixer in less than a minute: highly viscous material is mixed into a completely homogeneous, bubblefree compound. In this video we use our "M" range most sold Hauschild SpeedMixer DAC 600 FVZ in which you can mix up to 600g of material.
