Bio-Circular semi-closed cell EPDM sealing foam
Introducing Nitto's Bio-Circular semi-closed cell EPDM sealing foam, boasting up to 25% ISSC+ certified Bio-Circular content under the mass balance approach, the EPT-Sealer® provides a premium sealing material with the added benefit of approximately 40% CO2 reduction. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications where softness and superior sealing performance are paramount, it improves airflow efficiency and protects against water, noise, dust, temperature and impact. Notable features include ISO 846 fungal resistance and PFAS-free. Available with a variety of adhesive options for a complete solution.
Biobased foam
The shift towards sustainable materials is essential in addressing ecological impact. The eco-friendly series from EVA GLORY industrial: Biobased and Recycled EVA foam have both been developed to reduce CO2 emissions and minimize petroleum usage. The biobased Foam is crafted from renewable resources such as rice husk, bamboo powder, wood and agricultural waste, while the recycled foam is made from recycled PE resins from plastic waste.
Thermoplastic Web Adhesives Made of Sustainable Farmed Feedstock Polymers
AB-Tec and its sister company Spunfab are German and American manufacturers of roll-form heat-activatable dry, breathable, flexible and solvent-free thermoplastic web adhesives. Both companies are committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility, achieving to reduce their carbon footprint. For example, AB-Tec offers various biobased CoPA and CoPES types of web adhesives based on sustainable farmed feedstock polymers (not for feed or food) with a raw material content up to over 90%. TPU based web adhesives are already in development.
